My son loved Star Wars, so of course I bought him all the original figurines. A few years ago my kids shared with me that while
they were playing with them in the yard if one of the figures died they would always give them a proper burial. ~sigh~ I bet if I dug up my back yard I could probably find a few. ~Linda McKinney, Indie Book Reviewer My memory of Star Wars! (Snogging with my boyfriend in the back of the cinema when the first one came out.) ~Susanne O'Leary, Indie Author People debate me all the time on this one, but even with The Godfather Part Three (Which I did like) I consider this trilogy my all time favorite. You should really all agree with me. If you're having trouble deciding, I'll make you an offer you can't refuse!
~William L.K. AwesomeTrilogies.com My memory of The Godfather- just being so impressed with the acting, especially Marlon Brando. ~Susanne O'Leary, Indie Author Please see our post about the original ROCKY movie on our blog!
"Rocky 4, where the sexiest man was Dolph Lundgren, a fellow Swede." ~Susanne O'Leary, Indie Author The first time I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark, I was enthralled.
Not only was I totally crushing on Harrison Ford, but the whole concept of the movie caught my imagination, from the Biblical lore to the constant action scenes and humor. I made my best friend go see it about eight times that summer. ~M.P. McDonald, Indie Author My memory of Indiana Jones (being pregnant and the baby doing a fandango in my belly during the noisy action scenes). ~Susanne O'Leary, Indie Author Action, adventure, and a whip! What was there not to love about Indiana Jones! Of course then all the kids wanted whips also. Mommy wasn't left with any toys of her own then. *blush* ~Linda McKinney, Indie Book Reviewer I believe The Lord of the Rings is my all time favorite movie trilogy. I bought the extended versions and watched all the commentary. I can remember eagerly awaiting The Two Towers and The Return of the King. The cinematography was outstanding and I loved all the actors. I seriously considered buying the action figures for myself. Since my kids are all grown now I probably wouldn't have to worry about them getting buried in the back yard. Wait, I have grand kids now.
~Linda McKinney, Indie Book Reviewer For almost a year after my daughter saw the original movie she pretended to skate around the house saying, "TOE-PICK, TOE-PICK" again and again and again!!! LOL
~William L.K. AwesomeTrilogies.com The first is my favorite in the series, but they are all great.
The whole concept is so fun--haven't we all wondered how cool it would be to go back and see our parents as teenagers? ~M.P. McDonald, Indie Author If you'd like to make a comment about a movie on this page, please send it to AwesomeTrilogies@aol.com. We'll take a look and if it's a good fit we'll be happy to print it! :) |
